I am happy to be writing this testimonial from my quaint, lovely, "looks just like me" home with the extraordinarily affordable price tag... all thanks to the less than 2 months I spent with Christan Ross as my real estate agent. When my son reminded me about a friend of his from his college days who was now a real estate agent, I was a little skeptical, just because I wondered about the age/experience factor, but I decided to take a chance. (By the way, it turned out that Christan had numerous years of experience and was very savvy in the real estate industry.)
When I first came to Christan, I was very frustrated because I had had a not-so-productive 3 or 4 months with another agent who got tired of working with a client whose conditions were not exactly ripe for buying a home, but who was determined to regain home ownership in this special market. Christan acted as if those shortcomings didn't even exist and plowed straight ahead, focusing on what I described as the house that would best meet my needs.
We looked at lots of houses, well priced for me, all while she worked with me to find the proper funding and to improve my overall credit picture. We had many market-based set-backs. By the time we found the perfect little home for me, everything was straight and the closing was smooth sailing. She even brought roses to the closing for me. It was just the icing on the cake.
What I love most about Christan as an agent and as a person is her perpetual smiling optimism. It is truly contagious and keeps you going. Nothing diverted her from her goal of assuring my happiness. Moving while pregnant is already stressful, but moving 700 miles while pregnant and your husband is working in another state is a WHOLE other story.
